Meeting Minutes

 

July 1, 2010

 

Meeting was called to order at 12:10 p.m.

 

Meeting Minutes were approved as corrected.

 

Correspondence:  None

 

OLD BUSINESS: Parade. We have a good turnout. Need to order trophies.

Betty will help Thersa with the auction for September.

Josh said the Town is looking for grants for the water system and the sewer system.

We have the grants for the camera's for the businesses. But mostly business as usual

When they do the water the roads will be tore up but then replaced. Staci from TEDD said that they were here for us if we need them. They will be doing a needs assessment for the community to be prepared to give them what we feel is needed.

 

Larry Guenther: Springdale is going to be doing railroad ties as they are the only mill to be

able to do so. The county will be having meeting with the unions next month. We are most

feasible for Bio Energy.

 

Frontier Days: Meeting tonight. T-shirts ordered and everything is going well.

 

Women's Club: Off for summer

 

Grange: Will be holding dances 1st Sat. of each month until Oct. Will be doing coffee and

donuts in front of Grange on Sat. Rodeo weekend. Will also serve breakfast on Sat. There

will be a dance Sat. night.

 

Dental & Medical Clinic: Expansion next month. Debt has increased with the downturn in

economy.
