I paint Barrels, some Canvas, & saw blades and did I mention, Barrels with Art!

The barrels provide a wonderful surface for painting & wood burning.

You can find my Barrel Art in Loon Lake, WA.

All Barrels are checked cleaned & bands tightened. Paintings are done with outdoor acrylic paint then I preserve the Barrel Art by using a UV- water resistant sealant.

Anywhere you display your barrel its going to be a conversation piece.

I have optional 13 X 13 cedar plant mover’s “Western Wood”.

Artist trading cards How to make them. Create Trade, Collect and Swap Your ATC Cards. They are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online.

The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" × 3.5". And we don’t sell them only trade them for other ATC cards.

I am a member if you have questions or want to learn more or how to trade with me here is my email address for Deb Hall.

Artist-in-Residence in USA National Parks

Here's something for landscape painters in the US. Did you know that 29 national parks run artist-in-residence programs? These offer "opportunities for two-dimensional visual artists, photographers, sculptors, performers, writers, composers, and craft artists to live and work in the parks." The deadlines for applications, who can apply, and the period of residency varies from park to park, but you can find all the details on the park's website. You'll typically be asked to donate an artwork to the park, and to interact with visitors in some way. This could be a great opportunity to spend an extended period in a park and provide a boost to your career as an artist. Don't automatically assume you won't qualify, take the time to find out more. Suzanne Schmaltz, our 2010 Artist-in-the Park.
