Welcome to Springdale, Washington in southern Steven's county, a rural community in Washington State...
Springdale Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary non-profit organization, focused on growing the community through healthy businesses, positive people, promoting communication and education, and providing and sharing information to members and visitors.
You will find Springdale is very beautifully situated and surrounded by the picturesque hills and fertile valleys in Southern Steven’s County. It’s a unique country town respecting a slower pace where “yesterday has a home”.
We are part of the 395 corridor north of Spokane. Just west at Loon Lake and you are only ten minutes to beautiful downtown Springdale.
Mary Walker School District is working hard to be the best educational system you can find for your children. We have day care, health clinic & dental office in town. We have two churches for the community. And one gas station right across from the local grocery and hardware store.
We are conveniently central to all your fishing, camping, hunting, and boating dreams. They are all just minutes away. While all roads leaving town lead to many lakes like Waits Lake, Loon Lake and Lake Roosevelt there are many more lakes that can be found in Stevens County at Washington Lakes.
We have Geronimo’s Food & Spirits family Restaurant, which hosts the world’s smallest museum with historic photos of Springdale & other memorabilia. We have Springdale Hardware & Grocery and the Kountry Korner for your shopping convenience.
If that’s not enough, we have the rural cultural charm of Chewelah and Colville to the north and Clayton & Deer Park to the south. Or perhaps you prefer the metropolitan scene of Spokane just 45 minutes away… You may picnic at our quaint town park, or take a walk down by our Lucky Duck Pond on Sheep Creek which runs right through town. For more information about the Lucky Duck pond and over look and access trail click here.
We share our community with our Native American Indian and Amish neighbors and friends. The area just wouldn’t be the same without them. We are proud to have the influence of their rich customs and heritage as part of our own.
We wish to welcome you to our modest town and please slow down for the sake of our children and horse drawn wagons.
Springdale Community Center Located on Shaffer Street (the main drag in Springdale) a former restaurant and bar, the building has a commercial kitchen, cooler, handicap accessibility, 2,200 sq. ft. and a back and side yard with enough space for a Farmers Market. |
