Regular Meeting

August 3, 2006

Member’s present: Linda Ritts, Lela Taylor, Lanita Taylor, Pat Barden, Jan Buche.

Emailed minutes were approved without changes.

Treasures report checking $1151.82 and savings $503.00

Old Business:

Linda and Lanita will work on the books and get them updated and when finished Lela will take them to her accountant and he will finish the paper work for out 501 C 3 application.

New Business:

Lela asks that the members think about the Chamber taking a break from meetings in July and August since the turn out for those months are so low.

Lela also asked that the members think about forming a committee to work on the Chamber float for each July.

Reports:

Clinic reported that they will add a Dentist and a Cardiologist to the clinic and will be housed in the “old clinic” on Second St... Dr. Meyers the Optimist will move his office into the clinic on Main St. by fall of this year.

Frontier Days will have a game day for the kids. Springdale Motorcycle Rodeo will be the 3^rd weekend in August.

Womens Club will be back from their summer break in September.

Jerry Wetle will be our guest speaker at the September meeting.

Newsletter:

We will accept one political article during an election year from each candidate after that they will pay for any other article.

Announcements were made and the meeting was adjourned.
